Signal transmission

The video signals of the supermarket chain stores are transmitted to the central management computer room through the security private network in the project through the TCP / IP method; the video signals can be transmitted to the monitor display and the NVR storage video through the main stream of the camera.

Store chain video signals are also transmitted using TCP / IP. The entire system can be accessed through a small router located in the store, and all signaling transmissions are completed through this device.


Video storage

At the back end of the system, Hikvision's network hard disk video recorder is used to store video signals. The structure of this system is relatively simple. The overall performance of the system depends largely on the NVR (network hard disk video recorder) itself.

The system design image storage time is 15 days. Finally, the selection of NVR must be based on the number of front-end cameras and the resolution to calculate the number of NVRs and the capacity and number of internal hard disks.

According to the universal storage capacity calculation formula: capacity = number of channels * number of days * 24 * 60 * 60 * code stream / 8/1024/1024, it can be roughly estimated how many hours (days) of video can be stored.
